Our Partners
We are fortunate to have the following partners support us in the work to ensure that all students are equipped with the Wisdom and Knowledge necessary to succeed in college and to become leaders in their community.

Agape North – Agape North creates all CEG’s uniforms, t-shirts, and other gear with the mission to “give back to students in need”. Each year, students receive one free polo from Agape North.
Arise 2 Read – Arise 2 Read trains volunteers to tutor 2nd grade students in a sight word program called Team Read. Every week, volunteers visit CPL to work with our 2nd grade students for one hour. Their 2018-2019 test results demonstrated a 247% increase in the number of second graders reading on sight word grade level in the thirty-one schools tested.
Binghampton Development Corporation – The BDC exists to improve the quality of life in the Binghampton Community. Rachel and Adam of the BDC lead Bible studies, Boys’ Club, Girls’ Club, and other after-school activities for CPL and LP students.
Carpenter Art Garden – The Carpenter Art Garden is right across the street from the Lester Campus and works in partnership with the community to address critical issues facing the neighborhood. Each week, students can create art, receive educational support, or participate in counseling groups. The organization also has a community garden and bike shop.
Christ Church – Christ Church is an active supporter of Capstone Education Group. Christ Church provides volunteers, leadership, and professional support to the work that occurs on each of our campuses. Their work in the Binghampton community through CPL, LP, and other neighborhood organizations has made a dramatic effect in the lives of Binghampton residents.
Communities in Schools – Each of our schools has a Communities in Schools Site Coordinator that works with school leadership to connect students and families with community resources that help to address academic and nonacademic needs so that students show up healthy, safe, and prepared to learn.
ESPN Academy – ESPN Academy provides after-school tutoring to equip children with the knowledge, skills, resources, and support they need to build their minds and character to achieve their maximum potential both in school and in life.
First Baptist Church-Broad – Monday through Thursday, FBC on Broad provides an after-school academic program for CPL and LP students from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Give Clean - Each of our schools partners with Give Clean for all of our janitorial needs. Give Clean exists to transform their industry by empowering their employees meaningful work, providing exceptional services, and utilizing resources to better communities. The janitorial staff from Give Clean has quickly become a part of our team!
Le Bonheur – Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. We are lucky to have full-time physical, speech, and occupational therapists at each of our schools through Le Bonheur.
Lester Community Center – Walter Casey and Alice Davis do an incredible job leading the community center that is adjacent to CPL and LP. As many as 75 students join them after school to enjoy recreational time, work on homework, and develop relationships.
Memphis E-Club – The Memphis E-Club is the official alumni and booster club of Memphis’ East High School. The E-Club supports Lester Prep in many ways such as sponsoring LP’s basketball team by donating shirts or selling concession stand items.
Memphis Gridiron Ministries – MGM is an outreach ministry that provides youth football programs in the East Memphis and Binghampton communities. Many of our students play on their teams and experience Christ-centered coaching and mentoring that change the way they think about sports.
Memphis Teacher Residency – MTR desires to see equal education across the city of Memphis through Christian love. To contribute to this change, MTR provides innovative teacher training within a residency model and then places teachers with partner schools. There are many MTR residents and teachers throughout CEG schools.
MobilEyes – Southern College of Optometry’s MobilEYES Community Vision Unit brings the eye doctor right to our students at CEG! Each year, our students are eligible to receive various services because of the MobilEYES unit that is a fully equipped mobile eye health and vision care clinic on wheels.
Refugee Empowerment Program – Located in the Binghampton community, REP addresses the unique needs and concerns of the refugee population of Memphis through innovative empowerment programs and creative community outreach. REP helps our refugee students in many ways including after-school tutoring and homework sessions.
Service Over Self – SOS has partnered with CEG schools in multiple ways throughout the years. Currently, SOS assists with facility maintenance over the summer and hosts SOS Builds after school for middle school and high school students in Binghampton. SOS Builds provides leadership and character enrichment through hands-on construction training.
Uncommon Schools/Teach Like a Champion – Uncommon Schools and TLAC exists to close the achievement gap using great teaching strategies. All of our schools use TLAC strategies, while network and school leaders partner with Darryl Williams of Uncommon Schools to build an environment where teachers can develop rapidly.
